This Chinese reopened 2 weeks ago, it was closed for quite a while but has always been my local, it is absolutely amazing, the food is outstanding, give them a try you wont be disapointed. Very happy to customise your meals accordingly. I'm over the moon its open again, New owner seems real nice too, perfect, Keep it up 🥡

Had family over for a Chinese and thought we’d give Golden Lantern a try. It was delivered in under half an hour and came piping hot. Everybody cleared their plates. The prawn toast was AMAZING. Wish we ordered another portion of it. We will definitely be returning customers.

First time trying - delicious and piping hot! I had satay skewers, Thai sweet chilli chicken, egg fried rice and salt and chilli chips. Highly recommend

Outstanding food, was forced to use lotus chinese, up the road near riverside, wow what a huge difference in taste and quality, this is my new favourite by a long shot. Really nice inside too and very fairly priced & they deliver. What more could you ask for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was a little unsure about trying food from Golden lantern as it replaced Hong Kong fusion and I really didn’t like the food they used to serve.
However the food from golden lantern is very good, I’ve ordered from here twice now and I have been really impressed with the quality and flavour.
I’m so glad we have another quality Chinese in the neighbourhood again.
We ordered sweet and sour chicken balls, egg fried rice, beef and black pepper and a Singapore chow mien, everything was super tasty, hot and served quickly (15 mins).

We would also like to take the chance to put it out there (for other people who may be unaware) that we are brand new owners and have brand new staff. We have no connection to Hong Kong Fusion whatsoever. So please, if you are apprehensive, then come and give us a visit.
Lovely meal, arguably nicer then Hong Kong fusion who they replaced. I will be back and wish them the best of luck in their new business!

Trying this for the first time having always used Hong Kong Fusion and has to be the best Chinese meal we’ve had in years. The highlight has to be the crispy chilli chips - the best in Norwich! Everything was cooked perfectly and was all a reasonable price. Will be returning!

Omg, stayed locally for 1 night and thought we would try as the reviews looked good, the food was delivered within 20 mins it was absolutely piping hot 🥵 and the portions sizes were huge! Delicious and well worth a visit x

I've never had special fried rice like it - massive lumps of assorted fairly flavourless meat floating about in soggy fairly flavourless rice. Not nice. No offence to whoever works in the kitchen but they are definitely not a chef. Pretty much zero effort seems to have been made such as cutting the chicken, pork etc into small pieces and frying it. Luckily I didn't order a full meal. Pretty small for £7.10 as well although maybe that's a good thing.- Service

Hi Ed, we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed. However, the special fried rice you ordered is the one with the chunky meats in it. The one you describe that you was expecting to receive is our Yang Chow Fried rice, which has smaller cuts of meat, and prawns instead of king prawns. Our chef has many years of experience, and has ran other kitchens before. It seems like our menu may not have been clear enough, for which we apologise.
